strawberry jam
  • Servings: 2kg (4lb 8oz)
  • juice of 2 lemons
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1.5kg (3lb 5oz) strawberries, hulled
  • 1.5kg 93lb 5oz) sugar
  1. Place lemon juice, water and strawberries in a large saucepan. Bring to the boil, stirring occasionally, and cook for 10 minutes. Add sugar return to the boil, stirring until sugar has dissolved and cook until setting point is reached. Allow to stand for 10 minutes
  2. Pour into warm sterilised bottles and seal.
