"Grown up" Pigs in a Blanket
  • Cooking Time: 10-12
  • 3 Pre-cooked Gourmet Sausages (I used Trader Joe's Chicken Apple Chardonnay)
  • 1 ball of pizza dough (I used Trader Joe's Garlic Herb Dough)
  • Olive Oil
  • Sea Salt
  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees and spray a pizza stone or cookie sheet with non-stick cooking spray.
  2. Cut the sausage into bit-sized pieces.
  3. Flour a work surface and rolling pin. Roll the pizza dough flat on the surface and use a pizza slicer to cut it into smallish triangles (about 1 1/2" thick).
  4. Roll each bit-sized piece of sausage into a triangle of dough.
  5. Place piggies on the stone or cookie sheet and brush with olive oil. Sprinkle salt over the top and bake for 10-12 minutes until tops are golden brown.
