"Mommy's Favorite" Cookie Bar

  • 1 stick butter, salted
  • 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk
  • 12 oz. semi-sweet chocolate morsels
  • 1 1/3 cups flaked coconut
  • 1 cup chopped nuts (I prefer pecans)
  1. Preheat oven to 350*.
  2. Melt butter in a 9x13 baking dish in the oven.
  3. Sprinkle graham cracker crumbs over butter and press into pan.
  4. Pour sweetened condensed milk over crumbs.
  5. Top with chocolate morsels, coconut, and then pecans.
  6. Lightly press toppings into condensed milk.
  7. Bake about 25 minutes or until lightly brown.
  8. Allow to cool before cutting into bars and serving.
  9. Store covered.
These are so yummy and gooey. When baking desserts ALWAYS use the finest chocolate. It really does make a difference in the finished product.
